12/19/23 Now Fully Functional ADAMnet Hard Drive Returns Home
Back in the day  One drive went to Tony Morehen to make TDOS work on it.  Long story short, Tony never did and I am sure that ADAMnet drive bit the bullet somewhere along the line. The second drive with Bob Blair made its way at ADAMcon 10 into the trusted hands of the Slopsemas of A.N.N./MicroFox. Preserved safely and alone, where until the recent discovery of two additional controllers was made. These scrap controllers were purchased from Terry at eColeco in late 2023. I posted a pic of the controller online and it was recognized by Roberts Slopsema as a possible ADAMnet HD Controller. I attached a small HD and formatted it with MI HD software and it was detected across the net!!! However it was inconsistent, only would read under certain programs and overall was not "functional". Robert provided a different version of the MI HARD DISK Software for ADAMnet vs. IDE, still to no avail. The drive was shippiped off to Grand Rapids to the home of MicroFox where in just a few days of playing with the device A SECOND FUNCTIONING ADAMNET HARDDRIVE EXSISTS!!!   THANK YOU ROBERT AND DOUG!!!

RARE FIND!!!!!
Received an EMAIL from Robert Slopsema about this card I recently purchased. He identified it as the ADAMnet HD Control Board. A rare item needed to put a HD on the ADAMnet. I happen to have a MI Drive Case with a rigged IDE drive inside. With this card now installed the HD is accessible through the ADAMnet.......NO IDE CARD NEEDED.

I was recently contacted by another Coleco enthusiast with respect to my sites content: "Let me just tell you that I regret you took documents from my site, erased the address of my site from them, and gave me no credit." I must say that I have numerous files, pdf's, pic's, etc from numerouse sources. I cannot identify the source of each by any means. Many date back to the early 90's and have been purchased in collections from other retired entusiast. I strive to purchase an original of every document, piece of hardware, software and collectable. If a source is known I try to establish a relationship (and try to purchase from them).

I am working on source verifying all site items not currently in my possesion. If you believe I have sourced your material without permission and would like it either credit or removed, please contact me.

A majority of the material has been verfied to this point and is available on Archive.org. Please support and make a charitable (tax deductible) donation to help preserve the web and the history of our hobby.
