Draw fast and aim true in the Old West shooting gallery!
Welcome to Target Town — a dusty frontier settlement where the only law is a fast hand and a true aim. Outlaws, varmints, and bottles pop up in the windows and doorways of the Bank, the Jail, the Blacksmith, the Saloon, the General Store, and the Railroad Office. Draw your six-shooter and pick them off before they duck back into the shadows.nnTarget Town is DiRoccoVision's high-resolution ColecoVision and ADAM revival of Coleco's beloved late-1970s mechanical target game. Pop-up targets across the whole town appear faster and trickier as your score climbs, mixing point-scoring marks with bonus targets and "don't shoot" innocents that cost you if you wing them. Keep a steady trigger finger as the clock winds down and the town comes alive.nnChoose your challenge across three skill levels, play solo to chase the high score, or trade shots with a friend in two-player alternating mode to see who's the fastest gun in town. Featuring hand-drawn western sprites, a foot-stompin' saloon soundtrack, and the rapid-fire arcade action that made the original a den-room classic.

The original Target Town was a mechanical target shooting game produced by Coleco in the late 1970s, during the company's pre-ColecoVision heyday as a maker of electronic and tabletop games. Players blasted away at pop-up targets arranged like the storefronts of a Wild West town — the same Bank, Jail, Saloon, and General Store storefronts that DiRoccoVision recreated for this revival's box art.nnColeco (the Connecticut Leather Company) dominated the handheld and tabletop electronic game market in the 1970s before launching the ColecoVision console in 1982. Bringing Target Town to the ColecoVision and ADAM as a high-resolution ROM closes the loop — a Coleco classic reborn on Coleco's own 8-bit hardware.nnThis edition was built from the ground up by DiRoccoVision to take full advantage of the ColecoVision's color palette and rapid-fire controls, turning a den-room mechanical novelty into a true arcade shooting gallery.
